Freedom DVPN provides VPN access through decentralized network routes. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used to provide VPN connections, free usage limits, ads, subscriptions, IP checks, split tunneling, route health, support, and security features.

Short Summary

Freedom DVPN does not collect or store your browsing history, DNS query history, or the contents of your internet traffic in our app or broker code.

We do use limited operational records to run the service. This includes information needed to start VPN sessions, enforce free usage limits, verify subscriptions, show public/VPN IP information, check route health, prevent abuse, display ads for free users, and provide support.

Some third-party services may process information needed for their part of the service, such as Google services for ads and billing, an IP lookup provider for approximate IP location, hosting providers, DNS providers, and independent decentralized VPN nodes.

What We Do Not Collect

Freedom DVPN does not collect or store:

Freedom DVPN does not sell personal or sensitive user data.

VPN Permission And VPN Traffic

Freedom DVPN uses Android VPN permission to route selected network traffic through a VPN tunnel.

The app uses this permission only to provide VPN protection, show connection status, and apply your split tunneling choices. Freedom DVPN does not use VPN permission to collect browsing content or manipulate ad traffic.

When you connect, websites and apps you use may see the VPN IP address instead of your normal public IP address.

Decentralized VPN Routes

Freedom DVPN uses decentralized network routes. These routes may be provided by independent network nodes. Freedom DVPN does not operate or control every decentralized route.

As with any VPN, the selected VPN route may process network traffic needed to deliver the VPN connection. We recommend using HTTPS websites and secure apps for end-to-end protection.

Route availability, speed, city labels, and exit location can change depending on the decentralized network.

Data We Use To Provide The Service

Freedom DVPN may use limited operational data, including:

IP Lookup

Freedom DVPN may check your current public IP or VPN IP so the app can show your visible IP, approximate location, and route-verification status.

Our backend may use an IP lookup provider, currently IPLocate, to return approximate country, city, network, and related IP information. IP location is approximate and may differ between lookup providers.

We use IP lookup for app display, route mismatch checks, service diagnostics, and abuse prevention. We do not use IP lookup to build a browsing profile.

Free Access And Ads

Free access may be supported by ads. Free users may be asked to watch a rewarded ad before unlocking a free VPN session, manual location choice, or high-speed route option.

Ads may be served by Google AdMob and related Google services. Ad providers may process data needed to load ads, measure ads, prevent fraud, verify rewarded ads, and comply with advertising rules.

Ads must not block VPN disconnect controls. Freedom DVPN does not use Android VPN permission to manipulate ad traffic.

If ad partners, consent flows, or advertising data practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy as needed.

Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are handled through Google Play Billing.

Google handles payment details. Freedom DVPN does not receive your full payment card details.

Freedom DVPN may receive and store purchase verification information such as product ID, purchase token, subscription status, entitlement status, expiry time, and verification timestamps so Premium access can be granted, restored, and checked.

Users can manage or cancel Google Play subscriptions through Google Play.

Split Tunneling

If you use split tunneling, the app shows launchable apps installed on your device so you can choose which apps bypass the VPN.

Your selected package names are stored locally on your device. Freedom DVPN does not sell or share this app list for ads or analytics.

Data Sharing

Freedom DVPN may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the app and provide the service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, to protect the service, to prevent abuse or fraud, or to respond to valid legal processes.

Data Retention

We keep operational records only as long as needed to provide the service, enforce free usage limits, verify subscriptions, prevent abuse, maintain security, provide support, troubleshoot issues, or meet legal obligations.

Examples:

You can contact us at info@freedomdvpn.com for privacy questions or data deletion requests. Some records may need to be kept where required for billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, service operation, or legal obligations.

Security

Freedom DVPN uses HTTPS for app-to-backend communication where applicable. VPN traffic is encrypted between your device and the VPN tunnel endpoint.

Sensitive backend secrets, wallet keys, provider API keys, and service credentials are kept server-side and are not included in the Android app.

No service can guarantee perfect security. We work to keep the service secure and to limit operational data to what is needed.

Your Choices

You can disconnect the VPN at any time.

You can change VPN protocol and route choices where available.

You can disable split tunneling or clear selected excluded apps.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play.

You can clear local app data or uninstall the app to remove local settings stored on your device. Some backend records may remain where needed for service operation, billing, security, fraud prevention, support, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

Children

Freedom DVPN is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact info@freedomdvpn.com so we can review the request.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, service, ads, subscriptions, support systems, or legal requirements change.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and make the revised policy available in the app and on the public website.
